Title page to a tract entitled "De Leuterbol van Diest, de Hond, en de Pikbroek, by den Laaste Stuyver", no. 21 in the series entitled "Esopus in Europa"; in the centre an etching showing a Dutch sailor mocking a man of Diest who creeps away from the siege of Ghent which takes place in the background to right; a French dog (a fleur-de-lis medallion on his collar) snarls at him. The sailor points out a painting on the wall of a nearby inn showing two lions (the Netherlands and England) circling the French tiger; in the background, Imperial eagles attack the tiger on a mountain top, and smaller animals represent the French allies. 1702
