Preparing for the worse case scenario, the Osan 51st Civil Engineer Squadron Firefighters answer the call at a MAJOR ACCIDENT RESPONSE EXERCISE (MARE) prior to Air Power Day and the arrival of the Air Force Thunderbirds at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The MARE drills are held quarterly and keep base personnel ready to respond to such emergencies as air crashes, ammunition accidents and fuel spills.
