The airplane landed on a fence. The wrecked wings, nose and cockpit area of the airplane are visible through a wheat field. '1296' is painted on the airplane near the tail. The negative was kept in a small brown paper bag with '5969 Plane Crash Sky Harbour' written on it in pencil and black ink.
