Pfc. Matthew Goodwin, a Fairbanks, Alaska, native and member of the medical platoon attached to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Infantry Brigade, demonstrates how to construct a sling to immobilize a broken arm during a community engagement visit to the Survival in Nature Together Camp held in Ergli, Latvia, July 17. The camp, which is run and funded primarily by Maris Olte, a Latvian television personality and explorer, provides nature experiences to youth from around the world.
