Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua Bryant, from Sumner, Maine, assigned to Construction Maintenance Building Unit 202 of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7 embarked aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima, drills holes in wood framing for a storage building during a Continuing Promise 2010 engineering community service project. Iwo Jima is participating in the Continuing Promise 2010 humanitarian civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nations to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering assistance in eight countries.
