Pere-scie / AB ; lith. de Becquet, rue Childebert No. 9.
Summary
Print shows Jean-Charles Persil wearing minister's robes, with long saw-toothed nose with which he attempts to decapitate Charles Philipon who is lying on a stack of "La Caricatura" volumes with his hands bound. In impression 1a the saw-toothed nose drips blood, and a portrait of Louis Philippe along with a pear-shaped caricature appear on the bound volumes beneath Philipon's arms.
