Onboard the US Navy (USN) Harpers Ferry Class Dock Landing Ship, USS CARTER HALL (LSD 50), a Sailor assigned to the Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) Team is issued a 5.56 mm M4A1 carbine inside the ships armory. The CARTER HALL and embarked ACU-4 are currently on deployment conducting Maritime Security Operations (MOS) in the Indian Ocean in support of the Global War on Terrorism
