On February 15, 2006 soldiers from B Company, 2-506 INF (Band of Brothers) conducted a search operation of a local meat packing slaughter house near Observation Post Red in Southern Baghdad. The area was known for having ties to Anti Iraqi Forces. SSG Shawn Steward from B Co 2nd Platoon questioned a man for having wires in his car at the meat packing house.
