NYPD and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit Celebrate Corps' History

Chief Raymond Diaz, Commanding Officer, Manhattan North Patrol Borough, gives the youngest Marine, Stephen Lalchan, of Selden, N.Y., a bite of the birthday cake during the New York Police Department Marine Corps Association birthday celebration Nov. 7, at One Police Plaza in New York. Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit were in New York to provide support for Veterans Day and the re-opening of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
