Summary

Español: Nikolái Chjeidze en la Conferencia Estatal de Moscú (del 25-08-1917 al 28-08-1917), por Yury Artsybushev.

Yuri Artsybushev (1877-1952) was a Russian painter known for his contributions to the Russian avant-garde movement. He was associated with the Symbolist movement early in his career, before moving on to a more avant-garde style influenced by Cubism and Futurism. Artsybushev was born in 1877 in Tula, Russia. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and later became involved with the Moscow Symbolist Circle. He exhibited his work with the Mir iskusstva (World of Art) group, which was influential in the Russian art scene at the turn of the 20th century. Throughout his career, Artsybushev experimented with various styles, including Symbolism, Cubism and Futurism. His paintings often feature dynamic compositions, bold colours and abstract forms, reflecting the influence of these avant-garde movements. Artsybushev's career was interrupted by the tumultuous events of the early 20th century in Russia, including the First World War and the Russian Revolution. He eventually settled in France, where he continued to paint until his death in 1952. Although Artsybushev's work is not as widely recognised as that of some of his contemporaries, he remains an important figure in the history of Russian avant-garde art, contributing to the development of new artistic styles and ideas during a period of significant cultural and political change.
