Nicola Sacco manuscript letter (in B. Vanzetti's hand) to Nicola (in Italy), Dedham, 27 April 1922
Summary
On being shut in, being tired of legal practices, and lack of faith in Webster Thayer or new trial. Translation: “It has been two years that I have been shut into a small cell, always shut in, except for visiting time.. “Only after the trial did I get one hour a day in the courtyard, and if I feel fairly well, I owe it to exercise in my cell . . He goes on to say that he is tired of being a prisoner, sick of legal practices, that Sacco should beware of Thayer. “They will condemn us again, if there is a new trial. My faith is in my friends and in the proletariat. “Love to the Old one and the Old ones.."
