Mercy is off the coast to provide humanitarian and civic assistance to the people of this coastal city. Mercy is in the fourth month of a scheduled five-month deployment to host nations in the Pacific Islands, and South and Southeast Asia. Mercy's mission is being carried out by volunteers from Project HOPE, Operation Smile, International Relief Teams (IRT), Aloha Medical Mission and the University of California at San Diego Pre-Dental Society joined Mercy, along with a contingent of military medical specialists from the United States, India, Singapore, Australia and Canada.
