KUANTAN, Malaysia (Jun. 30, 2009) Musician 1st Class Danny McGowan, Musician 1st Class Luslaida Barbosa and Musician 2nd Class Collin Reichow, all assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet Band, look on as students from Seberang Tayor Primary School perform for dignitaries during a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the dedication of an engineering civic action program for Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Malaysia 2009. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
