Summary
Significance: The Storage Building, once called the Carpenter's Shop, is one of a collection of buildings which helped define the Minnesota Soldiers' Home as self-sustaining. This building, built in 1921, along with the bakery, shore repair shop, barber shop, tailor, laundry and heating plant contributed to the well-being of the soldiers living at the Home. It stands in original condition.
