Mike Tolman discusses his work as a direct support professional for Oregon Supported Living Program, a private non-profit company that provides services for adults with developmental disabilities. He talks about his relationships with clients, his experiences as a union member and a manager, the skills and qualities needed to perform the work, and the workplace culture of direct support professionals.
