Aegean Sea (Feb. 10, 2007) Members of the visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) team assigned to the Italian frigate ITS Maestrale (F570) fast rope on to the forecastle of guided missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) during a boarding exercise aboard the vessel. Monterey is the flagship for Standing NATO Maritime Group Two (SNMG-2). SNMG-2 is currently in the Mediterranean supporting Operation Active Endeavor.
