Members of the Conference of Central American Armed Forces (CFAC) battalion, pose for a group photo with instructors from Chile and the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation March 20. This battalion staff training and seminar is an opportunity for CFAC partners (Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua) to build partnerships, encourage communications and planning, and familiarize themselves with United Nations peacekeeping operations and procedures prior to the start of the Peacekeeping Operations-Americas 2012 to be held in Santiago, Chile, in May 2012.
