Written on reverse: .Dear Nell 20/3/18.This is a part of our battery. I marked myself with a cross. You can't mistake me, the same hard old looking dial..G. McKay.You can see a cross on the man far right in the middle row..From research I believe this man is Gordon Leslie McKay #3962 from Western Australia..His war records: discoveringanzacs.naa.gov.au/browse/records/90344/1 ( https://discoveringanzacs.naa.gov.au/browse/records/90344/1 ) ..(one of several photos with links to 12th, 16th and 44th battalions - all from the same ebay seller)
