Master Trooper Brad Taylor with the North Carolina Highway Patrol, informs Marines on how alcohol affects the body and mind and the impacts on a driver’s capabilities during a Rethink the Drink event at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, July 2, 2019. The Rethink the Drink event was hosted by Marine and Family Program’s behavioral health center and substance abuse counseling center to help bring awareness to service members about risks associated with driving and boating while intoxicated. The event featured the North Carolina Highway Patrol, New Hanover Sheriff’s Department, BAT mobile unit, Alcoholics Anonymous, and behavior health resource tables from the Marine and Family Programs.
