Guahan Shield is an exercise designed to facilitate multiservice engagement and provide potential rapid response to theater crises and contingency operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The Marines are part of Combat Logistics Detachment 39, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The poolees are from Okinawa, Japan, Saipan and Guam.
