NEW YORK (May. 26, 2009) Marines assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and members of the Marine Corps Reserve Band based in New Orleans participate in a wreath laying ceremony after the annual Fleet Week New York Marine World Trade Center Run to Ground Zero. Approximately 3,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen will participate in Fleet Week New York City 2009. This event will provide the citizens of New York City and surrounding tri-state area an opportunity to meet service members and also see the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
