Ronald Reagan is in Hawaii to participate in the 22nd Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise, the world's largest multinational maritime exercise. RIMPAC is a biennial, multinational exercise designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multinational interoperability. The first aircraft carrier commissioned into the United States Navy was USS Langley (CV-1) on 20 March 1922.
