Map is surrounded by portraits of Pres. Jefferson Davis and Generals Lee, Gordon, Jackson, Beauregard, J. E. Johnston, A. S. Johnston, Stuart, Hood, and Longstreet and pictures of Confederate money and postage stamps, the capitol building, war memorials, and the flags of the Confederacy.
"Confederate poetry and song" and "important events and battles of the Civil War" are printed on the verso.
