LTG Charles D. Luckey (center), commanding general, United States Army Reserve Command, poses for a group photo with the Army Reserve Engagement Team-Japan Aug. 24, 2016, at USARJ headquarters in Camp Zama, Japan. Luckey visited Japan to understand the close partnership between USARJ and the Army Reserve. The short yet informative tour also gave Luckey a rare opportunity to directly engage with Soldiers working and training in Japan and promote the Army Reserve’s new vision of becoming a lethal, capable and combat ready force prepared to face the unique challenges of the Pacific.
