HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (Oct. 25, 2009) Lt. Paul Gundy, a Dental Officer assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 74 from Hattiesburg, Miss., crosses the finish line of the first Marine Corps Marathon held in Afghanistan. The marathon is a satellite race to the 34th annual MCM held in Washington D.C. Gundy finished first of the 12 Navy participants and 13th overall.
