Letter from E. D. Moore, Barre, to Amos Augustus Phelps, Jan 10. 1842
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Erasmus Darwin Moore writes that he would like to introduce the subject of slavery in a lecture he was invited to give. He will do this by talking about Florida and Florida war, because slavery isn't a welcome subject. He asks Phelps to send him any documents he can that may help him with this project. Moore goes on talking about a recent meeting of the Worcester North Anti-Slavery Society. He says Frederick Douglass gave a good lecture there.
