Lance Cpl. Richard Jenkins, a supply representative with Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, explains how to properly use cold weather gear to Brigadier General David W. Maxwell, the commanding general of 2nd MLG at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, Calif., Feb. 7, 2018. The visit enabled Maxwell to observe the well-being and readiness of the unit preceding their training iteration where they learned survival skills, how to traverse mountainous terrain and cold weather weapons maintenance.
