Lance Cpl. Kevin Belgrade, squad leader, Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, and a native of Stratford, Conn., throws a smoke grenade while Marines provide covering fire during a live-fire exercise at Range 410A at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Jan. 19, 2014. The battalion conducted platoon attacks at the range for the first event of their Integrated Training Exercise.
