Lance Cpl. Esteban Ramos, rifleman, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, sets up security during a squad competition aboard Kangaroo Flats Training Area, June 4, 2014. The squad competition is a week-long series of timed and graded events designed to test the Marines both physically and mentally. At the end of the competition, the scores will be compiled and a winning squad will be determined.
