Published by Giovanni Ostaus, Venice, woodcut of Lucrezia designed by Giuseppe Salviati (Giuseppe Porta, called Il Salviati), Italian, Castelnuova di Garfagnana ca. 1520-1575 Venice.Design is printed upon a grid. It is in the shape of a triangle and is ornamented with coiling and intertwining vines of leaves, acorns, grapes, and flowers. The vines form an octagon in the center, which frames a heart with an arrow shot through it. At the top of the design are 2 birds.
