Kurdish children proudly show off some of their new founded American friends. Toys have been generously donated from numerous organization affiliated with military bases and civilian programs in Guam. Operation PACIFIC HAVEN represents a series of airlifts designed to provide sanctuary for some 2,400 refugees fleeing Iraq. Many are considered traitors by the Iraqi Government for working with the CIA-funded Iraqi National Congress and international humanitarian agencies. The Kurds will be housed at Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, while they go through the immigration process for residence in the United States
