CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Inside the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the solar arrays are being checked out prior to beginning process of stowing the power-generating panels on the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution, or MAVEN, spacecraft.
