KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - Astronaut John Young speaks to veterans of the space program in front of the U.S. Space Walk of Fame’s Gemini Monument in Space View Park in Titusville, Fla. More than 50 former Gemini workers attended the event marking the 40th anniversary of Project Gemini. Young, himself a veteran of Project Gemini, told members of the group they should be pleased with their accomplishments, which ultimately helped to land a man on the moon and will lead to future Mars exploration.
