Significance: With its massive scale, clapboard and fish-scale sheathing, modillioned, wide, boxed eaves and twin towers, the Kohl House is a unique, imposing farmhouse located in the Town of Grand Coulee (Appleton vicinity). These attributes combine to make the structure a locally unique and significant architectural artifact.
