A Somali woman, left, is having her teeth cleaned by US Navy LT Loren Masuoka, a dental officer from the USS America (ship not shown). US Army and Navy personnel (not shown) arrived at "Old Port" Mogadishu, Somalia, to participate in a Medical/Dental Civil Action Program. They provided basic health and dental care needs to Somalis in the surrounding area. LT Masuoka, a 5 year Navy veteran, is 31 years old and from Portland, Oregon. This mission is in direct support of Operation Restore Hope
