Joint Task Force Civil Support staff members prepare to load bags during a deployment readiness exercise Feb. 11. The exercise tested the command's readiness and ability to respond quickly to a catastrophic disaster in the homeland within two hours of notification. Along with the readiness exercise, JTF-CS deployed a joint planning augmentation cell to Washington, on Feb. 10, to assist Joint Task Force National Capitol Region with planning efforts for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear incident response operations.
