Jan. 16 - 22, 2016 Strike Update

Weekly Strike update: Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve conducted 160 strikes this week, 137 strikes in Iraq and 23 strikes in Syria from Jan. 16-Jan. 22. This week's strikes supported Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) in multiple cities, to include:
- 38 strikes near ‪#‎Mosul‬ as a Daesh cash collection point is destroyed.
- 44 strikes near ‪#‎Ramadi‬ as the city continues to get cleared of Daesh terrorists by Counter Terrorist Service forces as 3,600 civilians are rescued from Daesh by ISF.
In Syria:
- 4 coalition strikes near Mar’a as vetted Syrian opposition forces retook several villages near the Mar’a line.
