The twenty-four-hour plate gen-erally shows the appendix. The screen, associated with palpation,aids in diagnosing adhesions with reference to the appendix andpoint tenderness. Case Reports. Every normal appendix will fill, see Fig. 1. The statement that any ap-pendix should be totally obliterated after 35 years may be true, but still needsproof. The age of this case was 42 years.
