NORFOLK (Aug. 05, 2009) Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Michael Cao, assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Kauffman (FFG 59), holds his one-month-old daughter for the first time after returning from a deployment to Naval Station Norfolk after a four-month deployment. Kaufman deployed to Latin America and the Caribbean as part of Southern Seas 2009 supporting the U.S. Southern Command Partnership of the Americas strategy.
