Idanha Hotel, 928 Main Street, Boise, Ada County, ID
Summary
Significance: At the time of its completion, the Idanha Hotel was the most expensive structure ever built in Boise. It incorporated French Chateau style founded in many Canadian and eastern U.S. hotels, and was the first commercial structure in Boise to have round corner turrets. The Idanha retains much of its original architectural character, reflecting the grandeur of the days when it was Boise's leading hotel.
