OKINAWA, Japan (Aug. 20, 2015) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Daniel Quick raises the black flag after the temperature increases at Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5's medical clinic on Camp Shields, Okinawa. The black flag warns that the temperature has risen and personnel should take precautions to prevent heat related injuries. NMCB 5 is deployed to Japan and several countries in the Pacific area of operations conducting construction operations and humanitarian assistance projects.
