The German flight pioneer Siegfried Hoffmann at the world record for passenger flights at the airfield Berlin-Johannisthal in 1912. His machine was an Harlan-monoplane (of Carl Wolfgang Harlan (1882-1951)) of the "Harlan Flugzeugwerke GmbH" with a 100 PS - Argus motor (= "Military-type" of the airplane). This world record flight took place on the 8 March 1912 at the airfield Berlin-Johannisthal with the passengers (Oberleutnant) von Eichstädt, Tourbier, Kühn, and Bors, and lasted 32 minutes and 39 seconds. During this flight was transported beside of 40 kg fuel a net load of 385,5 kg.
