Summary

PARAMUS, N.J. (May. 26, 2009) Gunner's Mate Chief Jason Winn answers questions about the Navy from students at East Brook Middle School. Sailors from the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) visited the school during Fleet Week New York City 2009 to thank the students and teachers for goody bags they send to members of the armed forces as part of their participation in Operation Goody Bag. Approximately 3,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen will participate in Fleet Week New York City 2009. This event will provide the citizens of New York City and surrounding tri-state area an opportunity to meet service members and also see the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
