Georgia native, corpsman serves country on first deployment

Motivated to better his life and receive an education, Petty Officer 3rd Class Ricky Lattimore, a corpsman with 3rd platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Tank Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 6, enlisted in the Navy a month after graduating high school. He is currently on his first deployment for an approximate seven months in Afghanistan.
