VLADIVOSTOK, Russia (Sep. 24, 2007) Gas Turbine System Technician (Mechanical) 1st Class David Ballesteros, of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82), hands out toy cars to children at the Mayak Children's Rehabilitation Center. Sailors assigned to the Lassen and the minesweeper USS Patriot (MCM 7) visited the center to donate gifts and spend time with the kids treated there. Lassen and Patriot are in Vladivostok to participate in exercise Pacific Eagle, a bilateral exercise with the Russian Federated Navy.
