AEGEAN SEA (Jan. 04, 2018) Gas Turbine System Technician 2nd Class Andy Rodriguez, adjusts the throttles on a propulsion auxiliary control console in the central control station aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) while underway in the Aegean Sea. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its fourth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners, and U.S. national security interests in Europe.
