Fort St. Michael Armory, Eastern end of the old St. Michael airstrip, south of Airport Street, approximately half-way between St. Michael and the old village of Tachik, Saint Michael, Nome Census Area, AK

Significance: The Fort St. Michael Armory was one of two remaining buildings of the fort at St. Michael, which was constructed in 1898-1899. The armory was located east of the main complex of the fort, although this building was likely moved after the fort was decommissioned in 1925. Fort. St. Michael is associated with US military development in Alaska and the Klondike Gold Rush.
