Summary
Significance: The Fort St. Michael Armory was one of two remaining buildings of the fort at St. Michael, which was constructed in 1898-1899. The armory was located east of the main complex of the fort, although this building was likely moved after the fort was decommissioned in 1925. Fort. St. Michael is associated with US military development in Alaska and the Klondike Gold Rush.
