Summary

Significance: Building T-1065 is a Detention Ward, Type W-8, with a 26-bed capacity; this is one of three buildings of this type (the other two are T-1066 and T-1067) in the hospital area which housed patients who were classified as prisoners or those undergoing treatment for mental disease. (Note: Building T-1068 is also a detention ward, but is a Type I-H, a designation that superseded the Type W-8.)
