Foreign Liaison Officers from Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom joined U.S. Africa Command leadership, U.S. Ambassadors to Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, a representative from the Office of Security Cooperation in Chad, and Whitney Baird, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for West Africa and Security Affairs in the Bureau of African Affairs, during discussions about the Sahel region of Africa, in Stuttgart, Germany Oct. 8, 2019.
