Fleet Week New York 2015

STATEN ISLAND, New York (May. 23, 2015) Cathy O'Donnell hands American flags to visitors of the Fleet Week New York Music Festival in Staten Island, N.Y. O'Donnell and fellow volunteer Rita Hayes were honored with the title of grand marshals of the event in recognition of more than 70 years of volunteer service in support of the U.S. military. Fleet Week New York, now in its 27th year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
